This shrinking violet will just be happy to mix in to the background on the day of the Beve and play his golf game, NOT! Famous for great confidence in his golf game, Joe will only play once a year but still talks as good a game as Tiger himself. Despite going down 7&6 in the first Beve with Goldie to win the first ever Pish Cup he will still be sure that he is going to pick up two points on the day. Word has it though that he has been recently getting in some much need practice abroad, so you never know!

Favourite Beve Story

Ryan missing his flight over from Dublin the night before the bevy starts down in Troon a couple of years ago. We then get a call from him 30 mins before he is due to tee of saying he is on a boat about to dock in Troon. He arrives just in time to tee off after driving from Dublin to Belfast until the early hours and then sleeping in the back of the car until the boat left.

I have used a little artistic licence above…. But hey…. Why let the truth get in the way of a good story!
