Brother of the Captain of Team Tonner James, Eddie get his demeanour from his mothers side, The Grants. This means he is a little more laid back than James and takes life at his very own pace. This is in fact shown by the length of time that Eddie stands over the ball at address for each shot. This is also due to the fact that he is trying to remember all the helpful tips that his brother has given him (second hand from a few golf lessons). Eddie has also been clever enough to be drawn in his brothers team for the first three years of the Beve and avoided the obvious sledging or being a Team Tonner traitor when he turns out for the opposition in 2011.  Eddie has a formidable record in the Beve Trophy and stands proud as one half of a duo that handed out the biggest tanking in Beve History. The fact that this came against Jim Goldie was even more sweet and made up for the fact that he has had to listen to all Jim's bad jokes over the last 20 years.
