Match report by Adam Lee:

Coming into the match I had a positive frame of mind. Being re-united with my trusted compadre ‘Steady’ Eddie Tonner, coupled with the fact that we were to face Mr. Goldie on my home course, meant confidence was high.

And misplaced!

What I had not factored into my expectations was the T.B effect (see Morning 2008). After a rough start, Jim was beginning to gain steady momentum which saw him win 6 holes in a row. At this point my repulsion was clear for all to see.  With Eddie trying to calm the situation, it was a case of damage limitation.

The defeat was wrapped up on the 18th. It even pains me to recollect this defeat so I think the less said the better!!!
