The Format

Teams will be selected to make it as fair as possible and team captains, Captain James Tonner and Captain Kevin Rush will select their best formations to do battle in the Cawder sunshine. The morning will see 7 matches of Greensomes, over the shorter Keir course. This form of golf sees all four participants driving the ball, with the teams then picking their best drive before hitting alternate shots until the hole is completed. The afternoon will see a fourball game over the Cawder course. This is a best ball form of golf where all the players play the hole and the hole is won by the player that scores the lowest score.
 
The players will be split into two teams of fourteen with seven matches in the morning and seven in the afternoon. A win will count as one point and any team reaching 7.5 points shall be awarded the BEVE TROPHY. 

The competitive day shall be followed by the beve night out, where attendance is compulsory, with the opportunity being taken to remind the losing team of the score on a regular basis throughout the night! So best of luck to all participants, and remember the Beve Trophy Motto... Beer + Golf = Happiness!
