Brother in Law of Team Tonner Captain James, Scott likes nothing better than casting family ties aside and turning out for Team Rush in an effort to make Captains Tonners day a miserable as possible. This effort was blown out of the water in 2010 though when he was drawn in Team Tonner and even had to partner him in the morning Greensomes. Thankfully though, the Tonner/Thomson combination ran out comfortable 4&3 winners and Scott avoided being reminded of the defeat at every Tonner family gathering for the rest of his life. 
 
Scot also famously took his first drink after two years of Beve abstinence at the 2010 Beve and ended up causing so much havoc that he was a clear winner of the Beve Legend Award for that year. A formidable golfer when his driver is working and his putting is up there with the best in the Beve. Scott is also sure to have a few choice words for his long standing mate Ally and has specifically asked to never have him as a match up buddy, as after 36 holes together, one of them would be sure to be taken to well beyond breaking point.
