Dullatur - Carrickstone

The afternoon fourballs will take place on the Carrickstone Course, the signature golf course at Dullatur. The course is an undulating parkland course with natural hazards. 

It has 6 new holes designed by Dave Thomas.  The remaining holes are the original design put in place by James Baird.

The first 7 holes require the player to play accurate golf but the course becomes more forgiving when it opens out at the 8th where the holes become longer but wider.  During the winter months of 2002 the quality of the course was vastly improved when a project was undertaken to upgrade all remaining greens to USG standards.
