Ayr Belleisle

Belleisle

Belleisle has been described as “arguably the finest public parkland course in the United Kingdom” and it is for this reason that it has been given the honour of hosting BT2K10.

This classic course set in Belleisle Park and designed by James Braid in 1927 boasts beech tree lined and extra long fairways interlaced by the Curtecan Burn, combining natural landscape features with spectacular views over to the Isle of Arran.

A true test for golfers, tour players often sharpen their pencils here before major competitions! That’s how good it is.

Belleisle is one of the few public courses which hosts professional tournaments.  In 2010, it will host something far more important – the afternoon fourballs of the Beve Trophy.
